Jurica Fijačko

Hello. My name is Jurica Fijaèko. Born on June 3rd 1992 in Koprivnica, Croatia. I was always interested in some sort of art, whether it was music, drawing or design. When I turned 20 I become interested in photography through viewing work of well known photographers and my influences. Started to explore and learn photography on my own through Internet, video tutorials, books and other people's work, liked photography even more and decided to become self taught photographer. Most of my work has been done with digital compact cameras and processed in Photoshop and/or Lightroom in which I learned to work through working with my photographs and practicing. Im interested in macro, architecture, landscape, nature and urbanex photography. Also in all kinds of old, abandoned, dusty and dying places/buildings/things to photograph. And I like to work in black and white or with selective desaturation. In 2013 I started to build my portfolio, website and profiles on many photography pages to promote my work and gain audience. I decided to create serious photography on my own by improvising and learning through experimentation and practice. I like work of Ansel Adams, Connie Imboden and Matthias Haker.
