Unfortunately yes, if you use gradients you can't save the EPS with Inkscape (in the first years here on DT they accepted this as a vector, but since 1-2 years not anymore).Regarding the KB, generally the EPS is similar to the SVG file. 50MB is too much (something wrong).If you open a vector EPS file with Photoshop, the software rasterize it, so you'll have a raster image (jpg, tiff, bmp, ecc.), not a vector, even if the original file is a vector. If you want to check the vector EPS file you need a software like AI, but I think you can find some free softwares to open vector files (any suggestions from other users?).Bye, Rob. posted in Yeay - my first illustration - ever!
