An image can't actually be legally pinned except by the copyright holder. The "pin it" button that is visible to everyone is leading people to claim copyright they don't have. Imagine if itunes had a "post on napster" button.Once it has been pinned then it appears to be legally re-pinnable and legal to use in a blog or elsewhere. By pinning an image you are giving permission to re-use the image (even if you don't have that legal right). Pinterest doesn't care - they think they are covered by the terms of use and are happy to accept illegal permissions. posted in I do not want my images shareable on sites like Pinterest. .20 is my lowest single sale here, but I recently sold a TIFF for which I got 13.7 cents per credit, which I suppose had it been an XS would have gotten me .14 I am guessing if it was a referral sale it could be even lower (or maybe it was a referral sale). Unfortunately there is a lot of smoke and mirrors so we no longer really know what our commission percent is any more. posted in I bet, I had the lowest value sale
