Canon 50D. Lenses always in my bag: 50mm, 70mm macro, 10-20mm, 100-400 IS. Polarizer, ND, close-up filters. Lens Baby. Studio backdrops, hot lights, Strobies, reflectors, umbrellas, etc.

I started my business with a little Canon S50 I used to carry in my front jeans pocket. That little trooper (still going, btw .. it is now my "underwater" camera for snapshots) made me easily 7-8x as much as it cost all those years ago. I get really frustrated with equipment snobs. While it is true, good equipment does help one expand beyond certain limitations, the equipment does not make the image ... nor does it make a good photographer. Understanding what you're work...
