I love making photographs and sharing them with others. The scenes that capture my eye are usually full of beauty, colors, shapes and patterns. I like my images to portray the relationships of life, to build on those relationships to become more as a whole than the parts alone. This photographic approach mirrors my personal philosophy - that we are all a part of the interdependent web of life, and richer as a result.

I started as a teenager doing black and white with an inexpensive 35 mm camera. After college I was inspired by Ansel Adams and Edward Weston and did a lot of black and white darkroom work. I used 35 mm and 4x5 and 8x10 view cameras. Currently I use digital cameras and ink jet printers which has given me back complete control over the photographic processes.
